If you get the reference in the name of this blog then I respect you, and if you don't I still do respect you (albeit a little bit less). Okay, lets start with the inspiration for this blogpost and then discuss (by which I mean witness me ramble on about) my issues with the world today. A little over a week ago I heard that President Trump had allotted $2 Trillion towards military aide in the USA and it triggered me. A number I almost convinced myself was fictional, the fact I had now just heard it shattered some glass in my head. We're capitalists . Right, well done genius. You just figured out that the world is capitalist, next you'll be saying there's these vessels we use to commute called cars. Yes, I am aware (as shown by my self deprecation) that there is a system called capitalism that has existed for about five hundred years now. But, like with most things in life, I hadn't noticed how badly it affected me until I was broke... So the real story star...

It seems today we live in a world where everyone is more connected, we live a happier life where you can watch happy videos online whenever you want, share your life with friends thousands of miles away in speeds once not even conceivable and where you can create new memories to hold forever, right? Social so called media is definitionally social. It was the inception of globalisation, great e-commerce and means of communication that had never been so accessible. The leap was huge, creating overnight billionaires and a market that remains dominant and growing by the day. Globalisation on a real scale. But in truth, are we really as well connected as we think we are? Do we become further dogmatised in this bubble we have created for ourselves, do we seek solace and comfort in a machine that alienates us beyond our understanding.
